As I’m sure you know, unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, velvet has made a big comeback in interiors over the last couple of years. So when sofa.com got in touch and asked if I’d like to work with them on an interiors campaign and choose a piece of furniture, I immmediatly popped over to their website to check they offered velvet fabrics for their armchairs….. And luckily for me they most certainly do!
As Christmas is fast approaching the decorations are going up and Christmas songs are being sung but hey forget twelve drummers drumming because this year I’m bringing you twelve bloggers wishing….. I’ve asked them if Santa could drop an interiors wish in their Christmas stocking this year what would it be?
So, we’ve been renovating our home for over 3 years now and for some strange reason our bedroom is the last room we have thought about! So I was thrilled when Eve Sleep contacted me and asked if I’d be interested in trying their mattress bundle and bedding….
I love houseplants, which is great because these days no home decor is complete without them! Indoor plants have made a big comeback in recent years and most of us have anything ranging from a coupler of succulents plants to a whole range of shapes and sizes…… I myself have 46 at last count!

When Rockett St George contacted me and told me that they were opening a new Outlet Shop at their Sussex warehouse and asked me to come along and take a look before its official launch,I jumped at the chance!
At the end of January I was lucky enough to attend the Rockett St George event 'The Interior Design Trends in 2018' with Busola Evans..... The drinks were flowing, the canapés delicious and a sold out crowd of interior lovers were ready for an evening of interiors chatter and the chance to ask for expert interior design advice.....
We had done a couple of kitchen extensions before but this time I was determined to get a walk in pantry in there too.... After it sitting untouched after a quick lick of paint a year or so ago it was time for a revamp....
I have always had a thing about exposed brick in the home, that whole NYC loft vibe really gets the juices flowing, if you know what I mean!If I had to describe my dream home, an old original feature brick wall would be right at the top of the list.
This is Beths first home, she bought her new build townhouse in Newcastle in 2015. As it was a new build it was a blank canvas and Beth set about putting her own stamp on it and showing off her own style and personality.....
Dark blue walls? yes please! I think using blue on the walls of our homes had a bad rep for far too long, and now thankfully they've returned in the last five years or so, but in much deeper, richer colours.
